I have like Ben Miller ever since he played a rather sardonic member of thenUK’s intelligence community in the sci-fi series Primeval. It could have been a rather two-dimensional character but he gave it wit and depth (with assistance from the writing, of course). He is also very good in this rather demanding role. Sometimes smug and pretentious, he still elicits sympathy and a positive perception through it all.…
